Senior Counsellor & Clinical Psychotherapist
Couple therapist
Registered Clinical Psychotherapist (PACFA)
Registered Counsellor (ACA Level 4)
I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. Whether I am working with a child, an adolescent, an adult, a couple, or a family, my goal is to create a safe and collaborative environment where people can explore challenges, build on their strengths, and develop practical skills for lasting change. As part of my autism support initiatives, I also conduct cognitive assessments and psychology assessments to better understand the unique needs of my clients.
I am a Registered Clinical Psychotherapist with PACFA and a Registered Counsellor (ACA Level 4), holding a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals and families experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and relationship challenges.
My work with children is guided by the understanding that they often communicate through play rather than words. I integrate developmentally appropriate approaches such as Learn to Play Therapy, Child-Centred Play Therapy, Schema Therapy, Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS), and parent coaching to support children's emotional development while working closely with their families.
I also work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each person's individual needs, drawing on evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Reality Therapy.
Supporting couples and families is another important part of my work. I enjoy helping people strengthen communication, improve understanding, navigate conflict, and build healthier relationships through respectful and collaborative conversations.
I provide counselling under NDIS, WorkCover, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), private health insurance, and private referrals. I welcome clients from all cultural backgrounds and provide services in English, Persian (Farsi), and Dari.
My aim is to help people develop greater confidence, resilience, and healthier relationships while supporting meaningful change that extends beyond the therapy room.
