Rebates
At Flourish Horizon Psychology & Counselling Services, we aim to make therapy accessible and transparent. A range of funding and rebate options are available depending on your circumstances.
Medicare
Medicare rebates are available with a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, Psychiatrist, or Paediatrician. Under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative, you may be eligible to claim rebates for up to 10 individual counselling sessions per calendar year.For Clinical Psychologist medicare rebate is 145.25 each session and 98.95 for general psychologist each session.
Private Health Insurance
If you hold private health insurance with psychology or counselling cover, you may be eligible to claim a rebate. No referral is required.
NDIS, WorkCover & TAC
We are experienced in working with clients under:
- NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) – both self-managed and plan-managed participants.
- WorkCover – supporting clients with workplace injuries, return-to-work, and psychological recovery.
- TAC (Transport Accident Commission) – providing therapy and assessments to support recovery following road accidents.
Concession Holders
For clients with a Health Care Card or Pension Card, or those experiencing financial hardship, we are happy to discuss fee adjustments on a case-by-case basis.
