No, you can book an appointment directly with us, though a referral from your GP may allow you to claim some of the cost back through Medicare.

The first session involves discussing your concerns, reviewing your history, and starting to develop a treatment plan.
Yes, online counselling is suitable for most of the same issues as face-to-face sessions. It’s a flexible option if you travel often, live overseas, or have difficulty attending in person. You can combine online and in-person sessions for consistent support.
For online sessions, we’ll send you a Google Meet link before your appointment.
We may provide reports for the Department of Immigration, Citizenship, and/or Centrelink upon request. Report fees are separate from consultation costs and are not covered by Medicare. Please check with your private health fund or insurer regarding potential reimbursement.
We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a cancellation fee.

They assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioural concerns, supporting clients in coping more effectively with daily stress. Psychologists complete an undergraduate degree in psychology followed by two years of supervised clinical experience to gain registration.
Clinical psychologists undertake additional postgraduate training, completing a Master’s degree in clinical psychology and two further years of supervised practice. Those using the title “Doctor” have also completed a PhD or a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD).
Dual endorsement means that our principal psychologist, Dr Mandana Shaban, is formally recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia in two specialist areas: Clinical Psychology and Educational & Developmental Psychology. This dual qualification ensures she can provide expert care for both adults and children, addressing a wide range of emotional, behavioural, developmental, and mental health concerns with advanced, evidence-based approaches tailored to each stage of life.behavioural concerns, supporting clients in coping more effectively with daily stress.
